Giant Trance X 2 (27.5)
SKU2201078104
FLOAT THROUGH ROCK GARDENS, HIT THE JUMPS, AND FIND THE FASTER LINE. WITH QUICK-HANDLING 27.5 WHEELS AND ADJUSTABLE FRAME GEOMETRY, THIS LIVELY TRAIL BIKE IS A PARTY ON WHEELS.
KEY PERFORMANCE FACTORS
Adjustable frame geometry New flip chip feature lets you change the headtube and seattube angles, as well as the bottom bracket height, to fine-tune handling for varying trail conditions and individual riding style. |
|
27.5 agility and control 27.5-inch wheels balance agility and control, giving you the ability to roll over rugged terrain, flick the bike at speed, change lines, and explode out of corners. |
|
Progressive suspension Updated Maestro rear suspension features a trunnion mount shock with a longer stroke and smoother feel. With 145mm of rear travel (and 160mm up front), it has an Advanced Forged Composite upper rocker arm for increased stiffness and strength plus lower overall frame weight. |

Built for those who favor the responsive, agile handling of 27.5 wheels, Trance X features a flip chip that lets you adjust the frame geometry for riding style and terrain. You can choose a steeper or slacker head tube angle and either a 20mm or 30mm bottom bracket drop. The ALUXX SL aluminum frame has an updated Maestro rear suspension featuring 145mm of smooth, active rear travel. A trunnion-mount shock and Advanced Forged Composite rocker arm help soak up bumps, giving you traction and control to float through rocks, roots and ruts. Confidence is further bolstered by a 160mm travel suspension fork up front.
State-of-the-art aluminum material is made predominantly from 6011 alloy and delivers best-in-class strength-to-weight ratios. These framesets also feature unique welding technologies for a high-performance ride quality. |
Four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages all work together to create a single floating pivot for the most active, efficient and independent suspension system. |
A state-of-the-art, high-pressure molding process is used to produce a complex shaped carbon-fiber upper rocker arm that is lighter, stiffer and stronger than an aluminum version. |
Integrated shock mount produces a lower leverage ratio for increased pedaling and braking efficiency, plus a lower center of gravity and shorter chainstays for improved handling, climbing and agility. |
Flip chip adjustability lets you switch between two settings depending on the terrain you are riding. You can choose the low position for fast, aggressive terrain, or high for a more XC-oriented rider position. |
An ideal balance of agility and control, these wheels let you roll over rough terrain, flick the bike at speed, change lines quickly, and explode out of corners. |
Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/2” lower and 1 1/8” upper) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness. |
Drive-side chainstay and down tube feature built-in protection against rocks and debris. |
Wider hub spacing (110mm front/148mm rear) results in stiffer wheels for added control plus more tire clearance and an improved chainline for optimal drivetrain performance. |
Integrated Tubeless WheelSystem and tires deliver improved efficiency, comfort and control in the most user-friendly and reliable system. |

Many brands strive to list the lowest possible weight, but in reality weight can vary based on size, finish, hardware and accessories. All our bikes are designed for best-in-class weight and ride quality. |
