Shipping Timeframes, Rates & Processes
FREE SHIPPING IS AVAILABLE ON MOST ORDERS OVER $50
Shipping Timeframes
Our standard shipping timeframe is 2 - 6 business days. Business days (for online purchases) are defined as Monday through Friday. With our standard shipping option, our warehouse decides the quickest, most economical, way to get your package to you. We ship interchangeably between UPS and USPS. A tracking number will be provided to you regardless of the carrier used.
Shipping Rates
Most orders with a total price at or above $50 will have free standard shipping applied automatically.
Orders with a total price below the $50 threshold will automatically include a flat rate charge of $6.95 for standard shipping.
*FREE Shipping on orders over $50 does not apply to some oversized items.
Due to some larger sizes and varying weights of certain products, a flat rate charge may apply for the standard shipping option. The amount of flat rate shipping charge will depend on the category of product(s) being purchased. The following is a list of the product categories that will have a flat rate shipping amount applied automatically upon checkout:

Shipping Processes
*Orders placed by 7AM PST Monday through Friday will ship out on the same day.*
*Orders placed after 7AM PST will ship out on the following business day.*
*Orders placed on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday will ship out on the following Monday unless it happens to fall on a holiday. In that case, orders will ship out on Tuesday.*
Orders do not ship out on Saturday or Sunday
*Full-size bicycles are subject to a longer shipping timeline due to Dealer agreements and assembly processes. Please see the Bicycle Shipping Process & Timeframe document for more details*
Shipping Destinations
We're able to ship to the lower 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, and international destinations is unavailable at this time.

Bicycle Shipping Processes & Timeframes
In order to fulfill bicycle orders, internal processes are required to ensure that the bicycle is properly shipped which can extend the fulfillment timeframe.
Per our dealer agreements, most bicycles need to be fully assembled in our shop before they are able to be boxed and shipped. This will ensure that there are no warranty issues such as missing parts or defects with the bicycle before it is shipped to you.
Bikes will be shipped via Ground and tracking information will be sent to the email address provided during checkout. Bikes cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes.
Brand exclusions apply and not all bicycles are eligible for shipment outside of our dealer area. These will be marked and available for IN-STORE PICKUP ONLY.
Bicycle Categories & Fulfillment
BMX Bicycles
Most BMX bicycles can be shipped directly to you without any prior assembly. In most cases these will be shipped in their original box and packaging from the manufacturer. If the BMX bike needs to be disassembled and shipped from one of our Spokane store locations, we will inform you via email.
Full-Size Bicycles
Full-size bikes that are priced at $749.99 and below and specific brands are not eligible for shipment. These will be marked and available for IN-STORE PICKUP ONLY.
Eligible full-size bikes priced between $750.00-$2,499.99 will have a flat rate shipping charge of $100 applied during checkout.
Eligible full-size bikes priced at $2,500.00 or more are eligible for shipment outside of our local dealer area with Free shipping applied.
Processing & Shipping Time
BMX Bicycles
BMX bicycles in our Warehouse Inventory will be processed and shipped via Ground shipment within 2-4 business days of order placement.
BMX bicycles located in Spokane store inventory will be disassembled, packed, and shipped within 2-4 business days of order placement.
Full-Size Bicycles
Full-size bicycles in our Warehouse inventory will shipped to our Spokane store for prior assembly and checkover. Once assembly is complete, the bike will be minimally disassembled and professionally packed.
Full-size bicycles located in our Spokane store inventory may or may not need assembly. All bikes will be checked for warranty or blemishes prior to being minimally disassembled and professionally packaged.
Full-size bicycles will be processed, boxed, and shipped via Ground shipment within 2-7 business days of order placement.
Returns & Exchanges
Return / Refund Policy for Online Orders
This return policy covers orders placed through the thebikehub.com website.
If you feel we made a mistake or an item was damaged upon delivery, please contact us immediately with pictures via email at help@thebikehub.com, and we will help resolve any issues as quickly as possible.
To start a return request, please send an email to help@thebikehub.com. If you are able to locate and include your order number in the email subject (TBH-######), this will help expedite the process. If you are unable to locate your order number, please reach out and we will be happy to help find that information.
Return Policy
We offer a 30 day return policy on most items in brand new condition.
All items must be in NEW unused condition, in undamaged retail packaging, and must include all accessories and literature/tags.
For standard returns, the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs.
Returns are not accepted after 30 days.
Return Exceptions
Complete bicycles, and bicycle frames are not eligible for return.
Bikes canceled before shipment will incur a 5% restocking fee.
E-Bike Batteries are not eligible for return
Wheels, wheel sets, car racks, child seats and push bikes are subject to a $40 re-stocking fee.
Closeout items are not eligible for return. These items are marked closeout on their product pages along with this policy. Additionally, it will notify you in your shopping cart that they are closeout items.
Return Packaging & Shipping
All items shipped to The Bike Hub must be properly packed, you may not ship the item back using the item’s retail packaging as the package (unless you received it in this manner). If any return is shipped to The Bike Hub using the retail packaging as the shipping box, the return is subject to a restocking fee of no less than 50% (up to 100%) based off the condition of the item. Shipping items in this manner destroys them. Please place all returns inside proper sized packaging.
The buyer is responsible for all shipping and insurance costs associated with a return. In most cases we are able to offer a full refund for items returned to us in brand new condition. Any damage to the product or its packaging may result in restocking fees or rejection of the return. The Bike Hub is not responsible for lost return shipments. We recommend using a shipping service with valid tracking, and insurance coverage for the items retail value. Once your return is received, we will process it within 1-3 business days, and you will be notified of your refund via email. If there are any issues or unreported damage, we will reach out via email.
If you choose to refuse delivery of your order, please note this is NOT considered an acceptable return shipping method. Return shipping charges get billed to our account, which in turn will be deducted from your refund. Please ensure all returns are shipped appropriately after you have submitted an email return request and received the return instructions. The Bike Hub is not responsible for any lost or damaged items that are "refused" by the customer.
If a customer’s account is determined to have excessive returns, The Bike Hub has the right to reject return requests.
Exchanges
We are not able to perform direct exchanges for correctly shipped orders. If you determine that the ordered product will not work for your needs, the best and fastest way to get the needed product will be to place a new order for the correct item(s). You can submit a return for the unneeded item(s), and a refund will be issued once the product is received.
How to Return an Item

Please remember that the following conditions must be met:
1. The item is new in box with all packaging, tags, etc. Installed or used parts will not be accepted.
2. The item is being returned within 30 days
3. The item was not a closeout item
4. The item was purchased via thebikehub.com
The Bike Hub will not be responsible for items lost or damaged in transit back to us. Please take care to package the item carefully, use a shipper that provides tracking, and insure your item. Do not attach shipping labels directly to the an item's retail packaging, unless the item was shipped to you that way.
Once your item arrives, we will process it (generally in 3 - 5 business days) and you will receive an email that your refund or credit has been issued.
Return to Sender / Refusal of Package
If you choose to refuse delivery of your order, please note this is NOT considered an acceptable return shipping method. Return shipping charges get billed to our account, which in turn will be deducted from your refund. Please ensure all returns are shipped appropriately after you have submitted our return form online. The Bike Hub is not responsible for any loss or damaged items that are "refused" by the customer.

If you don't see a charge from us...
Please double check your email (SPAM folder especially) to see if there was a problem with your payment method. All orders are charged automatically, and all payments methods are analyzed for potential fraud, the checkout screen should keep you updated but there are times when even computers mess up. If you have questions, please just reach out to us!
Double charged?
This is rare and should never happen, if something funky is going on please don't hesitate to reach out to us. In most cases you might see the extra charge (or authorization) fall off within 72 hours.
How long does it take for a refund to process?
We know it's important to get your money back in a timely manner, all of our refunds are processed automatically when we recieve your items and we should be communicating with you via email with updates, if you don't see some thing from us please check your SPAM folder and hit us up if you're still in the dark!
Once you get your refund notification, it will take 3-5 business days to post to your payment method.
Refunds are only issued to your original payment method. If you checked out with Paypal, generally your refund will post to your Paypal account immediately.
